GCRR Resident Scholars are paid $250 to conduct unique research in the study of religion, which is then published in SHERM journal. Candidates must be members of the GCRR Academic Society in order to apply.

Include the following in your proposal submission:

1. Your current GCRR Academic Society membership number

2. CV with your name, academic credentials, and qualification for conducting the research

3. Title of the project and summary of your research objective(s)

4. Explanation of why or how your research is unique to the scientific study of religion

5. Explanation of why or how your research will make a significant contribution in the academic study of religion
